Protect your EBOOKS with a PDF Stamper plugin (WaterWoo)

Do you sell ebooks and terrified of people reselling or redistributing your ebook?

Well worry no more! Luckily…there’s a handful of PDF stamper plugins out there to help you deal with this issue. Generally, they work by “stamping” your customer information onto each page of the ebook to dissuade them from sharing with anyone else.

And of course, not all PDF stamper plugins are made equal.

This is a super biased review in favor of WaterWoo PDF stamper plugin made by Caroline Paquete.

Before I even bought Caroline’s plugin, I already knew it was going to be the best option for my use. I was heavily researching into PDF stamper plugins because I was seriously going to develop my own. I’ve been doing membership websites for a long time (selling ebooks and videos) and frustrated that a solid one didn’t already exist.

Of course…Caroline’s plugins existed for a while but just simply aren’t well known. I was really surprised and thoroughly impressed to find Caroline’s plugins. She has about 6 PDF stamper plugins, each fitting a specific use case. It’s obvious she took her time researching every detail of PDF-stamping and also to provide every possible feature you could ever want:

• positioning where stamp appears (offset from page edges)
• size and font
• which pages to show (every page, every other, etc)
• many more features/options I’m too lazy to list

There are a hundred more details and factors to consider when using PDF stamper plugins. Such as their drawbacks.

• Some stampers aren’t compatible with all PDF versions.
• You might lose your PDF inner-links.
• Other things that I forget.

I also didn’t try any other PDF stamper except Caroline’s because I was convinced hers were the best. They seemed the most researched, most features, and most thoroughly documented. Her plugin was such a joy to use. Worked perfectly for my ebooks sold through MemberPress.
