…won’t look out of place with your custom theme. 5. MemberPress can run small or large MemberPress can run small simple membership sites or large complicated sites. I really appreciate that MemberPress can do well with small sites that only sell a few items, as well as large sites that offer many items and memberships at varying price points. In a sense this is great because MemberPress can be used to set up a simple site and not feel like overkill, while still be flexible enough to grow with you. 6. MemberPress has extensive coupon…

MemberPress vs MemberMouse vs DAP - Wordpress Membership Plugins Review (2018)
I’ve studied, read up and compared many different membership plugins. I have personally tried MemberPress, MemberMouse, and DAP (still using MemberPress and DAP currently). Here is a basic summary of why I think MemberPress is best. For those wondering about my membership site. I basically sell access to 3rd-party hosted videos, downloadable videos & ebooks, and a members-only forum. Time to read the reviews! ***EDIT: I’ve updated this review to reflect their current progress. MemberPress Review MemberPress is coded the best, makes the most sense, very clean and easy to use. You can figure…

Dashboard Search for MemberPress (WPJ plugin)
This free plugin can quickly search for MemberPress users using any field (username, email, first name, last name, ID) directly from the WP Dashboard. Plugin Description: This plugin is very simple. Designed to help you quickly search through your users. Originally with the MemberPress plugin, searching for users took several annoying steps: Move your mouse cursor to MemberPress > Members, then click. Move your mouse over to search to type in information. Then move your mouse to the “Field” dropdown, and choose a field. Then click “Go”. As you can see, the process was inefficient/cumbersome….

WordPress Membership Plugins Review 2022
…I love it. Why? Because it’s so easy-to-use. Tons of features. Just enough integrations to cover everything you’ll ever need. The price is cheap as heck. It’s no-frills, drama-free, perfect membership plugin for me. I can manage thousands of users (and their records) with only a few clicks. I’ve also created my own add-on plugins for MemberPress. (Try MemberPress.) CONS Slow development. I do appreciate that it’s stable and bugfree. But many little features I’ve been asking were dismissed. The form styling is also very plain. I don’t mind this since I can style things…
WishList Member - membership plugin review 2020
…pages – fill in title, description, custom fields if needed. One panel with no sub-panels, clear labelling. Main AND sub-panels with unintuitive terminology. With MemberPress, you only have one “Settings” area to access all your settings. And only one panel to deal with. With Wishlist, every parent link in the main panel opens up a sub-panel with like 5-15 more links. Also with Wishlist, there’s no such thing as a “Settings” page. It’s flippin infuriating. You either dig through “Setup” (which should be called “Memberships”), or “Advanced Options” (which should have just been called “Settings”)….
Best WordPress Plugins - UPDATED 2024
…SEO redirect function – also a “no” for me. Membership: MemberPress – best membership plugin out there. I’ve tried many and this one has all the features I needed, easy and fun to use. Also great pricing that doesn’t overcharge you for necessary add-ons. See my review. I’ve also made MemberPress add-on plugins. WPJ Reports for MemberPress – my own add-on plugin that creates more detailed reports, with many more helpful features and information. FREE & PRO versions available. Should you pick MEMBERSHIP plugin or LMS plugin?
It’s tough deciding whether you need a membership system or learning management system. (MemberPress vs Learndash/TutorLMS) Both offer private content only to “members”, locked behind a paywall. Both help you monetize off a subscription model. But that’s about where the similarities end. Once you look carefully into them, you’ll find that they are extremely different businesses to run. Different workflow, different mentality, and different business model entirely. Let’s go over the nitty gritty! 1. What are you selling? (INFO vs LEARNING EXPERIENCE) The main difference is deciding whether you’re selling INFO vs a LEARNING EXPERIENCE….
Why I don't recommend FREE membership plugins
…something more. And another feature. And then another feature. And after 12 features later, you realize you should have went with a paid plugin in the first place. If you got a couple hundred/thousand members already and still can’t afford a paid plugin, I think your website idea needs work. My favorite membership plugin? MemberPress – it’s easily the best one out there. I wrote a gajillion guides explaining why. The next closest one is Restrict Content Pro (RCP), which was recently sold to new ownership…so that tells how weak the competition is against MemberPress….
DigitalAccessPass hacked - and changed address (PayPal IPN hack)
…is DAP or not, I can definitely see that their support will not help me troubleshoot should I ever get hacked again in the future. It was at this moment that I decided to take the plunge and look elsewhere and man…I found there were so many new membership plugins nowadays. If you’re just starting to look around now, I would like to suggest to you the best one. It’s called “MEMBERPRESS”, you can see my review on it here. Purchase it here through my affiliate link – www.memberpress.com Or read more complaints about DAP….
Restrict Content Pro - WordPress membership plugin review 2020
…content and “packages”? Oh yeah…you might prefer another plugin. VERDICT – I love RCP I love Restrict Content Pro. It is a beautiful membership plugin. With many built-in features, and many extra features that other membership plugins don’t have, put on the simplest cleanest UI. Super simple to use. Will fit 98% of use-case scenarios out there. I recommend it for everyone. But I don’t use it because of the centralized rules things. Other than that. I want you to use it. If you’re curious about other great membership plugins, I would suggest MemberPress (which…
Affiliate Royale to AffiliateWP (migration script)
This (free) simple php script migrates your affiliate data from Affiliate Royale to AffiliateWP. I developed it since I was unhappy with the neglected Affiliate Royale plugin that came with MemberPress and wanted to migrate to something with more features like AffiliateWP. Credits to Yin for pulling out his hair over this. If you want to see what is migrated, you can read through the plugin. It’s not too long. 😉 Download it here: Affiliate Royale to AffiliateWP migration script (GitHub) Instructions: It’s very easy to use…check the readme.txt…

How to Run a Successful Membership Site
…of their memberships as well. New ones need help with basic marketing strategy or setting things up. Established ones need help with coding and server management (since their site now crawls under the weight of its massive success). Very familiar with membership plugins. I’m extremely involved in the development scene for membership plugins. I’ve made reviews, chatted with plugin developers, gave free support on their Facebook groups, I’ve also developed my own addon plugins for popular membership plugins (I have 2 for MemberPress). ……………..so…………….. Does all this mean make me the expert of memberships? Absolutely…
Protect your EBOOKS with a PDF Stamper plugin (WaterWoo)
…Such as their drawbacks. Some stampers aren’t compatible with all PDF versions. You might lose your PDF inner-links. Other things that I forget. I also didn’t try any other PDF stamper except Caroline’s because I was convinced hers were the best. They seemed the most researched, most features, and most thoroughly documented. Her plugin was such a joy to use. Worked perfectly for my ebooks sold through MemberPress. Read this great article explaining the difference between PDF watermarkers – Which PDF Watermarker for WordPress is Best for You? Do check out all her plugins and…

Digital Access Pass (DAP) WordPress Membership Plugin Review - UPDATED 2019
…feels like an old car with a new paint job and lots of “repairs”. IMO, it needs to be rebuilt from scratch but they’ve got too many users to support and too much money being made, so I understand. If you want my professional opinion, do not use it. You and your developers will hate it. If you don’t believe me…just see for yourself. Install DAP alongside any other modern membership plugin and the decision is a no-brainer. 2018 update – they are STILL having security problems. https://www.digitalaccesspass.com/blog/2018/06/important-dap-security-password-update/ Want a real membership plugin?
